*Installation guide for Windows 2000

  1. Insert the driver CD into the CD-ROM drive.
  2. Click the CD-ROM drive icon and find the "CR\USB 2.0" folder.
  3. Click the "8in1" folder
  4. Find "setup.exe" and double click it.
  5. Follow the setp of "Install Wizard" to install the "USB Card Reader Driver".
  6. Plug your card reader into USB port and Windows 2000 will detect it automatically.
  7. The pop-up window "Find new Hardware" will come out.


  8. Wait for Windows 2000 to configure the card reader.
    When the installation (of the card reader driver) is successful, this pop-up window will disappear automatically.

  9. Congratulations! The process of installation is completed.

*Remove the card reader


1. Double click the "Removable Device" icon to pop up the setup window.


2. Press the "Properties" button to pop up the "Stop a Hardware Device" window.


3. Choose the "Generic Storage Driver" and press "OK" button.


4. The "Safe to Remove Hardware" window will pop up. Press "OK" button to eject the card reader.


5. Generic card reader has been ejected successfully!


6. The "Removeable Device" icon will also disappear automatically!
